A Manhattan based luxury real estate company has openings for experienced maintenance Porters within its Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island City rental residential building portfolio. The position is temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent, depending on performance and availability. Responsibilities and Duties

• Clean common areas and vacant apartments
• Maintain exterior areas.
• Collect and sort trash.
• Some minor handy work may include changing light bulbs, replacing blinds, and small paint touch-up jobs.

Qualifications

• One (1) year or more of Porter experience (building cleaning experience will be considered).
• Can communicate efficiently in English.
• Heavy lifting (50+ lbs.) is required.
• Must be available to work weekends, night shift and/or overtime.

Compensation

• 0-12 months: $22.3320 per hour (75% of the full wage rate)
• 12-24 months: $25.3096 per hour (85% of the full wage rate)
• 24+ months: $29.7760 per hour (100% of the full wage rate)
